Honey Dip of Da Day:

Aushley Patterson

Today's Honey Dip of Da Day is the fabulous, Aushley Patterson(@Fashionistar90)! This 24-year-old Honey hails from the beautiful city of Jacksonville, Fla. She is currently a graduate from THEE Florida A & M University, where she is going to receive her MASTER's in Business Administration! We had the chance to catch up with Aushley to ask her a few questions! Now presenting QUEEN Aushley Patterson!!!!

1.What makes you, you?

My personality, ambition, and fashion makes me who I am and memorable. I love to meet new people, party and have a good time. I believe work comes first but when all is completed TURN UPPP!!!! Education is a priority for me. I believe ambition is a sexy trait on an individual so I wear it proudly. I come from a single parent home where my mom worked hard. She was a young parent, had me at the age of 16 and I feel like I beat all of the odds that were against me as a young black woman. My mom also attended Famu. I have a younger brother who is 21. They are both my motivation.

 2. What are your future plans?

I am getting ready to graduate with my Master’s in Business Administration. I am looking to enter the Retail Industry for a while and learn more to build the KASA Brand. I plan to spread the KASA movement in other areas, not only in Tallahassee, Fl but in other areas such as Jacksonville, Fl and Atlanta, Ga markets.

3.Recent/past projects

A project that my KASA Krew and I have been working on for the past year is the first KASA Fashion Truck. in Tallahassee, Fl which is set to open in early April. This is my pride and joy. The fashion truck will be sorta like the food truck concept but for fashion. It is a store on wheels. We will sell clothes, shoes, accessories, shades, etc… It will also have a full dressing room aboard the truck and we will be at Set Friday for our Grand Opening! Official date TBA.

Favorite song currently:

1978 must have been a great year because that is when one of the best black movies came out. Oh how time has moved so quickly! The Wiz has to be one of the most classic black movies of all time. The dancing, the singing, and the acting were all phenomenal!!! If you haven't already do yourself a favor and watch this movie!!! Who was your favorite character? We loved MJ!!!
• Scarecrow - Michael Jackson
• Dorothy - Diana Ross
• Lion - Ted Ross

ThrowBIKE Song of Da Day

Next up is Today's ThrowBIKE Jam of Da Day! Ok, so this was a tough one. We had to make a decision and here it goes. The ThrowBIKE song of Da Day is our jammie jam, Can We Talk by Tevin Campbell!! There is something about this song that just keeps us all up in our feelings. Tevin was the man back in the day. Now, he's a little washed up but he will forever be our favorite R&B crooner.

They're tryin' to make me go to rehab: C-Breezy sent back to rehab for 2 months and returns to Instagram

What's da tea, what's da tea?! Well apparently Mr. C-Breezy himself is back on IG. That's right Chris took a mini hiatus from the Gram at the height of all the trouble he was getting into. He recently posted a few photos on IG showing that he's doing better...but we beg to differ.
CB has been clearly going through a lot Brown reportedly is due to be back in rehab for another two months, according to reports. Chris was just recently diagnosed as being Bi-Polar and PTSD. But despite everything Chris has been through one thing has remained true, his relationship w/ his long time side boo Karrueche aka Kockaroach Tran. Let us bow our heads and pray for C-Breezy cause he's lowkey losing these days.

Here are a few pics of C-Breezy's IG return:

Honey Dip of Da Day Celeb Edition: Lupita Nyong'o

Today's Honey Dip of Da Day is one of my favorite actresses, Miss Lupita Nyong'o. This 31-year-old Kenyan-Mexican QUEEN is a graduate of Yale's School of Drama and has made a huge impact on African-American women all over. QUEEN Lupita's recent performance in 12 Years a Slave has earned her much recognition. Just this past Sunday she was awarded the Oscar for Best supporting actress. Her performance was phenomenal!

Not only is this QUEEN an Oscar winner, she has won several awards these past couple of months. Those awards include: Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Supporting Actress, NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture!!!

Lupita is such an inspiration to women of color everywhere!! Her style and grace are amazing and so are her acting skills. Her recent speech she gave about beauty at the 'Essence Seventh Annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon' made a huge impact on many,me being one of them. She discussed her own personal issues with being a dark skinned woman in this crazy world. She too had problems with how dark she is and that she tried to negotiate with God to change her skin color. Overtime she realized how beautiful she is, dark skin and all!!

She is a QUEEN! She is beautiful from her head to her toes internally and externally. As black women we need her! Lupita's presence in Hollywood proves that black women still have a chance to be depicted the correct way in the media. Thank you, Lupita. You deserve all of the amazing things that have came and are coming your way!!! All hail, QUEEN Lupita Nyong'o!!!!!!

Here are a few candids of QUEEN Lupita:
