Daily Dissapointment: Macklemore and the 2014 Grammy's

Last Night at the Grammys Kendrick Lamar (@Kendricklamar) walked away with nothing, yep nothing. Kendrick who is known for his conscious and powerful lyrics lost Best Rap performance & Best Rap album to Macklemore, yep Macklemore. The outcome of the awards quickly sparked controversy which made almost all hip hop fans question the validity of the award show. Amoung Lamar others nominated in the two categories were: Drake, Jay z and Kanye West.smh Macklemore, who was gracious and very accepting of his award musg have caught wind of the backlash and sent this "genuine" text to Kendrick:

Mmm. Kendrick hasn't responded to the ordeal as of yet but the text does raise a few questions...

Where's Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye's text? Why didn't Macklemore say this in his speech? When did pop become hip hop????
